Curious Pheasant Theatre presents

Romeo and Juliet

Sunday 8th July 6:00pm at NST Campus Studio

This is a 'Scratch Performance' prior to a run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Bookers will be invited to stay after the show for a Q+A/Feedback session.

Tickets are 'Pay What You Can' and donations can be made on the night of the performance, but seats must be booked in advance.

This all-male production is a bold reimagining of William Shakespeare’s classic love story. This physical theatre piece will use the class battles of two opposing rugby teams to ground the piece in the 21st century.

The Capulets are an upper-class family falling apart due to fortunes lost and their traditions crumbling away.

The Montagues are a working-class society struggling to prosper with neglected ambitions.

When the two men meet, the integrity of both teams is compromised and the unyielding pride of men threatens to destroy all that they know.
