NST, Nuffield Southampton Theatres is at an exciting time of transition. Under the leadership of Sam Hodges it has been reinvigorated as a producing theatre company for Southampton and won The Stage award for Best Regional Theatre 2015. In 2017 NST becomes the operating company of NST City in Southampton’s new arts venue – Studio144 - which it will run alongside its existing theatre on the University of Southampton campus.

 

Head of Operations

To support the growth of the company, NST is now recruiting for a Head of Operations. This role is responsible for the operation of NST’s two buildings including front of house, security, bar and catering operations, hires, building facilities and maintenance and for ensuring that NST remains a safe, efficient and welcoming environment for all staff, visitors, companies and customers.

Digital Marketing Officer

To support the growth of the company, NST is now recruiting for a Digital Marketing Officer.

This role sits in the Development and Communications team whose mission is to place audiences at the heart of everything NST does. The team is tasked with driving ticket sales, reaching new audiences as well as diversifying them, raising the profile of the organisation locally and nationally and attracting new funders to support the company. There is a strong focus on digital communications and an aspiration for NST to be sector leading in this area. Youth Theatre Director

Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) is seeking a dynamic Youth Theatre Director to lead NST’s Youth Programme.

Youth Theatre Director is a key position within NST’s Engagement team and responsible for delivery of its highly regarded Youth Programme. The role is critical to building on this success and consequently requires a highly organised, determined and engaging practitioner with the skills to lead weekly Youth Theatre Sessions and support the leadership of Drama Club.

Engagement Assistant

Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) is recruiting for an Engagement Assistant, responsible for providing administrative support across NST’s Engagement programme. 

The Engagement Assistant is of central importance to the effectiveness of the Engagement Department; it serves across all strands of Engagement’s output especially Youth, Community Classes, Productions and Community Projects. The position, therefore, requires a highly organized individual, skilled at working with a diverse range of people and capable of juggling a range of priorities.
