NST is a multi-award winning company, including Best Director UK Theatre Awards 2014 (The Seagull), Regional Theatre of the Year at The Stage Awards 2015, Best Design UK Theatre Awards 2015 (The Hudsucker Proxy), and the 2017 Renee Stepham UK Theatre Award for Best Presentation of Touring Theatre (Fantastic Mr Fox).  In 2017 NST took on the running of NST City – the north building within Southampton’s new city centre arts venue known as Studio 144 – whilst continuing to run NST Campus, its existing 500 seater theatre based at the University of Southampton. NST City houses a 450 seat main house theatre, a 133 seat studio, screening facilities, rehearsal and education spaces and a café bar and bistro.

Marketing Officer (Commercial)  

Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) is recruiting for a Marketing Officer to join our busy Marketing Team, responsible for supporting the team in delivering the campaigns, in particular targeting Groups, Schools, Hires as part of NST’s Development & Communications Strategy. NST is one of the UK’s leading producing theatre companies, led by Sam Hodges. NST develops and produces work with some of the UK’s most exciting and dynamic regional theatres. This role sits within the Marketing and Sales team whose mission is to place audiences at the heart of everything NST does. The team is tasked with building relationships with our existing audiences, driving ticket sales, reaching new audiences, developing the brand to raise our profile and attract new funders. The Marketing Officer (Commercial) is integral to this team, devising and managing campaigns with a working knowledge of all marketing channels - including CRM, advertising, print, direct marketing, digital advertising, social media and PR.  NST has ambitious goals in the areas of audience growth, revenue income and digital innovation.  This role will play a major part in helping to realise them.

Designer

Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) is recruiting for a Designer, responsible for creating ideas, visuals and finished artwork to promote our productions and create imaginative campaigns. NST is one of the UK’s leading producing theatre companies, led by Sam Hodges. NST develops and produces work with some of the UK’s most exciting and dynamic regional theatres. The Designer is a new role and being brought in-house to work closely with the Director and Producing and Programming Team. The Designer will be responsible for create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media including the season brochure, show images and marketing materials with the aim to inspire and attract the target audience and to enhance the NST brand.
