Nuffield Southampton Theatres’ (NST) annual festival of performance, exhibitions, storytelling and music returns from 18 July to 11 Aug at NST City and Seaside in the Square, to celebrate and feature art by Sotonians who do it themselves.
The Now-Here festival opens with a free arts and crafts exhibition at NST City’s café bar Tyrrells between 11am and 3pm each day from 18 -20 July. Then the festival takes to the Seaside in the Square stage with spoken word from hip-hop artist, Matin Zoormand, music and dance from TUUVA and The United Voices of African Associations, Love Soul Choir, DJ B U S Y, Neil Maddock local songwriter, sea shanties from The Salty Sea Dogs and a Tai Chi workshop with Dr Michael Ng from the Chinese Dance Association.
