NST in Partnership with Naomi House and Jacksplace

NST are proud to announce a year-long charity partnership with Naomi House and Jacksplace, hospices for children and young adults.

Lucy Gray from Naomi House said “Everyone at Naomi House & Jacksplace are over the moon to be working with the fabulous team at Nuffield Southampton Theatres. As two organisations skilled in making amazing memories and moments that move people, I know there is lots we can do together to benefit the region’s life limited children, young adults and their families.”  

Kickstarting this festive season we will give 25% of all of the donations we receive to our Christmas appeal to Naomi’s House and Jacksplace during the run of our Christmas production of CinderELLA. 

Throughout the year we plan to provide a wealth of opportunities, free tickets, activities, fundraising and events for the children and families they work with and their staff. Supporting the incredible work they undertake, whilst also providing opportunities for children across the city to get involved at NST through live theatre, workshops, performance and arts award qualifications.

YOUNG PEOPLE

We work with young people and schools across our city to provide free tickets, training, arts award qualifications and a wide range of participatory projects. For many young people we work with, this is their first experience of live theatre.

 

  
 

FREE TICKETING SCHEME

NST are committed to offering young and disadvantaged people in our community the opportunity to attend a performance or participate in an activity or workshop free of charge. Your donation makes this possible

 

  

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

We want NST to be a place where everyone’s voices can be heard and their stories represented. Our Community Outreach department works with many local groups to involve them in our programming, see the work we make and to join us for special events.

 

  

SUPPORTING EMERGING ARTISTS

Our Laboratory department nurtures local artists providing opportunities at every stage of their careers. We support local artists to create their own productions, provide training and mentoring, as well as supporting five year long associate positions for rising directors, producer and designers.
