Shelley Maxwell is a Movement Director & Choreographer and holds a MA in choreography from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
As a performer she has toured globally with multiple London based and International Dance Companies and performed onstage in West End shows such as the Lion King (Lyceum Theatre) and Fela! (National Theatre).
She served as Assistant Movement Director for the RSC's production of Hamlet and formed part of the Dance Research and Development Team for Julian Fellowes' production of The Wind In the Willows. Shelley also directed a site specific outdoor production of the play Seventeen (Lyric, Hammersmith).
Movement Director credits include: Twelfth Night (Olivier, National Theatre); Winter (Young Vic); Rules For Living (UK Tour); Cuttin It (Young Vic), awarded best new play UK Theatre Award 2016; Why Its Kicking Off Everywhere (Young Vic).
