Amina Zia Mariam

Amina trained at ALRA graduating in December 2011.

Theatre credits include: Tartuffe (Royal Shakespeare Company); Once Upon a Marriage (Theatre 503); She Is Not Herself (Kali Theatre/Tristan Bates Theatre); Come In! Sit Down! (Tricycle Theatre); Twelve (Kali Theatre Company tour); Animal Magnetism (Bush Theatre) and Panting (Bush Theatre). 

Amina also wrote and performed the comic Honeytrap in a Hijab for which she was awarded runner up in the Monologue Slam (Theatre Royal Stratford East).

TV credits include: The Left Behind, Porridge, Doctors and Citizen Khan (BBC); Stath Lets Flats (Channel 4); The Block (DT Films); and The Delivery Man (ITV pilot).

Film credits include: Criminal (Lionsgate).

Radio credits include: Jobs for the Girls (BBC World Service) and English My Way a comedy series in Urdu (BBC Learning English).
