As a musician Alex has performed and recorded all over the world, with lots of different bands and artists, including Bibio (Warp Records), Malachai (Domino Records), Dubkasm (Sufferah’s Choice), The Allergies (Jalapeno Records), The Paraorchestra, Dom Coyote and Babyhead (Rockers Revolt). Alex's most recent solo album "Collected and Remembered" was released on Limbo Tapes in late 2017.
As well as performing and recording Alex has also composed music for The BBC, Aardman Animations, Channel 4, Cartoon Network and has worked regularly with BAFTA and Oscar nominated director Peter Peake, among others.
As a musician for theatre Alex has worked at Shakespeare’s Globe in 2017 as a musician in Emma Rice's production of Twelfth Night and has previously worked with Kneehigh as a musician on Dead Dog in a Suitcase (and other love songs) in 2015, The Tin Drum in 2017, and Ubu Karaoke in 2018.
