After the success of last year's Make It SO festival, NST are excited to have the festival coming back for the second time.
With the aim to celebrate all the brilliant work being created by artists local to the Southampton and Hampshire area, NST have programmed 19 work in progress shows from 18 companies over 3 weeks of Feburary to showcase exactly how exciting the local theatre being made is!
Some Make it SO highlights include brand new plays in My Soulmate's Husband's Soulmate and The Fasting Girl; exciting autobiographical work in Kindred, WET and 110 m.p.h.; dynamic dance and movement pieces in BOZA and 08:35; and a new musicals in Keep on Moving and Mrs. Beeton.
Nuffield Southampton Theatres is committed to support local artists through their creative development programme Laboratory. NST collaborates with artists at all stages in their careers and provides a programme of talent development opportunities such as creative residencies, scratch nights, networking opportunities and skills development workshops. The Make it So season is part of this programme.
