To accompany all of our week long visiting or produced shows, we hold Q&A sessions after one of the shows. These are free to attend, and are a great opportunity for audience to both meet the cast and dissect the show they've just seen.
Keep an eye on what's coming up.
Take a closer look. Lift the lid on the play you are about to see. Join in on these concise, practical, engaging sessions bringing together set tour, programming insight, rehearsal techniques and interviews to deepen and enrich your theatre experience. These events are particularly interesting for GCSE and A-Level students, or for theatre lovers in general.
What happens on the other side of the stage? Take a 60-minute tour of NST City or Campus and see how a producing theatre works. Open to all ages (please advise of access requirements at the time of booking).
Post show sessions for family and primary school audiences. These fun sessions build on children’s responses to develop deeper understanding and enjoyment about the play they’ve just experienced.
Do you enjoy theatre and live performance?
Do you want to have a say on what Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST) does?
NST is creating a “Community Panel” to broaden the conversation around what we do, how we do it and who we do it for. This will be a great way to influence how and what NST makes, presents and promotes in its theatres.
The Community Panel will be a collection of Southampton people from different communities, ages and backgrounds who come together and collaborate with our staff to help us shape our programmes and activities to make NST a theatre for the whole of Southampton.
The panel will revolve around a two-way conversation. We commit to listening to you and ensuring that your input plays a part in our decision making; in return, we ask for you to commit to building an understanding of how we work
We’re keen to hear from individuals who are:
Travel and access costs will be met by NST.
